Founded in 2009 by Robert Scott. XSI was born out of the need to get real coverage for athletes who choose to test the limits of their bodies in pursuit of being the best. One day while training for a boxing match, Robert broke his hand. His major medical policy was only going to cover a fraction of the cost it would take to get his hand back to fighting condition. With over 14 years in the insurance industry, Robert knew that there had to be a way to get the coverage he needed at a price he could afford. After a frustrating search, he created XSI to fill the need that he and other athletes like him had when faced with an injury.
With a core team of athletes and sports-enthusiasts with over 25 years of combined experience in insurance and sports marketing, XSI developed products and programs unique in the industry and brought them to the sporting world.
